The temporary cessation of hostilities between Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) chief, Prasad Harichandan and the party MLAs has come as much needed relief for the former who is believed to be holding secret parleys with his supporters to chalk out his future strategy. With his exit from office almost certain his faction is keen on installing a crony as the next PCC president. The strategy is to keep the belligerent MLAs in check and ensuring that Harichandan continues to have a major say in party affairs even after his departure from the post. The rebels, though, may not allow him that luxury and are reported to be keeping track of his moves.
