Not being tech savvy has emerged as a major problem for middle and lower level police officials across the state. With most of the officers heading police stations yet to learn to use Twitter and Fecebook they remain ignorant of vital developments taking place on the law and order front that VIPs put quickly on the social media sites. “Sometimes it is embarrassing as VIPs who keep monitoring their Twitter and Facebook accounts quickly take note of even private complaints forwarded to them by people, especially women. Since we can’t keep tabs on social media sites like them we are often left red-faced in such situations,” confessed a police officer.
