Bhubaneswar mayor, Ananta Narayan Jena has suddenly become hyper active on the Facebook. His Facebook account is being updated on a daily basis with details of his programmes and visits to different places. Sources close to the bachelor said his desire to make the maximum possible use of the social media was whetted following the overwhelming response to his early Facebook posts. “This is also a surefire method of catching the attention of the chief minister who has a liking for with-it leaders who keep in touch with people and their surroundings,” said a source pointing out that Jena has an ambition of contesting the assembly election on the ruling party ticket.
