State-wise details of juvenile homes funded under Child Protection Services Scheme – Mission Vatsalya are at Annexure-I.As per their need and requirement, the States/ UTs submit proposals for setting up of additional child care institutions, under the Child Protection Services Scheme – Mission Vatsalya.
During the current financial year 2021-22, an amount of Rs.247.41 crores has been released under Child Protection Services Scheme – Mission Vatsalya.
This information was given by the Union Minister of Women and Child Development, Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani, in a written reply in Rajya Sabha today.
