Ex-gratia case relief of Rs. 5 lakh is given to NoK in case of death of civilian or to the victim of more than 50% disability due to ceasefire violations/cross border firing. In addition, other benefits such as liberalised family pension, death-cum-retirement-gratuity, etc. are granted as per extant rules.
