Collector & District Magistrate, Ganjam felicitates the selected 4 SHG members before they fly Singapore
Sri DibyajyotiParida, Collector & District Magistrate ofGanjam district has today felicitated 4 Mission Shakti members at the Sadvabana Conference Hall here before they fly to Singaporefrom the district. The members will assess the marketability of the quality products by Mission Shakti members in the international market and make an onsite study on the methodology of local production, packaging and marketing strategies adopted in Singapore; Parida said.
International flight from Odisha to Singapore is scheduled to be commenced with effect from June 3, 2023. SailabalaRath, Chhatrapur, the Secretary of the confederation of Self Help Groups of Ganjam district Mission Shakti and 3 Anganwadi workers: Sunita Kumari Sahu from Rangeilunda Block, Kuni Swain and Puspanjali Pradhan from Sheragada Block have been selected to visit Singapore. They will gather knowledge on manufacturing of various local products, their quality control, packaging, market demand and tapping the international market etc., while in Singapore. DM & Collector Parida felicitated them by offering flower bouquets.
Among others, Chief Development Officer-cum- CEO Kirttivasan V, ADM Leena Kumari Khes, Project Manager of Odisha Livelihood Mission Nabin Senapati, DSWO (In-Charge) Sadhan Chandra Das, Dist. Coordinator of Action Aid DebabratMahunta, CDPO and Supervisor of Chatrapur ICDP, Office bearers of Chatrapur block Mission Shakti Confederation and ORMAS were present during the programme.
